woohoo! we're free!
the O's are finally over. what a horrible year this had been man study study and study.. never ending one semester slowly crawls past each time.. one exam quickly leads to another.. and whenever we go out to enjoy in between, we'll always be dragged back by the niggling thoughts of study at the back of our minds. =/ but not anymore! no need to study for the rest of the year already.. steady man. hahaha anyway, ytd was the last day of the Os ended it with the science mcq. after that, had some briefing about the PAE thing gona apply for AJ, hopefully will get in. haveta apply during 25-27, and daryl was complaining he will be in malaysia during that time so can't apply! we told him go internet cafe then he say malaysia all 56k..haha joel and i then walked over to my home got changed, and shared a cab to his place played a game of iss there, my england lost 3-5 to his spain -_- almost won man! i had a last min equilizer, wonder goal from gerrard so it was 3-3 initially but i conceded not one, but two penalties in extra time so lost 3-5. crap! haha. after tt brought the carrom board and joel's dad drove us to gm's house gm asked us to bring the carrom board cuz he didn't have it but when we wenta his hse, we found one in his cupboard!!! ass -_- i carried it down 6 floors, on foot, from joels house somemore haha. joel gm daryl and i then shared a cab to cineleisure to catch taxi it was pretty hectic, rushing to get tics for the 1pm show. met rio and fagar's grp, and ate burger king along the way. taxi was great! it was super funny man haha. jimmy fallon is one of the dumbest cops ever man haha. lucky there ain't so many like him! queen latifah is also damn funny. definitely worth the 6.50 we paid! haha. after that, the four of us shared a cab over to an area in aljunied the place was called swee lee or something daryl wanted to buy his guitar, and we stayed looking arnd for quite a long while finally he decided on a sleek black one costing bout 500 in total. waited awhile in the factory to get his guitar done, and shared a cab(again) to gm's place too many cabs today already, haha. had a bbq over at gm's. we took turns cooking the food it didn't turn out too bad! i kept trying to cook the perfect satay golden brown and stuff.. simin got irritated hahaha. bbq'ed from bout 6 til 9 then went up to gm's place the iss matches started.. the guys were playing that while the girls were playing board games after a while, everyone continued doing their own things can tell tt the girls were getting bored they started doing a 1500 piece jigsaw wasting time! haha. all the girls except liz left arnd 1130. then, the unthinkable happened. the ps2 couldnt work! iss couldn't work. we were all 'wa lao-ing' and stuff.. but decided to do something bout it so, joel called his sister and gm's dad fetched me joel gm and liz over to his hse to collect hahahah. crazy man. go over so many roads at midnight just to collect a gaming device. haha. but we wouldn't wanna risk having a night with nothing to do! haha. gm's dad drove liz home, n brought me gm joel over to a place in hougang to have a REALLY late supper had rice with dishes, rather good. the entire street was bustling with activity heard from gm's dad that it was supposedly a 'night street' they only opened at night, and not in the day after that, drove back to gm's and the real tournaments started we played countless tournaments.. the loser's lounge(hahaha) for this time was to play carrom it was super fun either way played carrom with gm's dad too, he's super good!!! he and guohua teamed up to play against joel and me we won!!! hahaha. but my carrom skills are QUITE lousy. joel crazy 1, observed how gm's dad played til he too played extremely well. haha. joel kept winning, he was super relaxed while shooting can watch tv and shoot and still manage to score -_- dumbass. hahaha. me joel gm daryl eric guohua played these from 1am to 4am then daryl eric can't tahan already.. went to sleep daryl slept next to us in the living room eric went back with kenneth to his house at 5am, guohua backed out and slept left me gm and joel.. we played like crazy then.. as it was only the 3 of us we had unlimited games played til 7am joel 'died' at that time. fell dead asleep.haha i played with gm still, it was only then that i started winning!!! with newcastle. gm taught me something unintentionally(he bluffed me bout the 'special' button at first, but too bad it was true =D), and my bellamy could run with super speed! really SUPERsprint man. hahahah from then on, it was one way traffic i kept winning! i won gm's barca, gm's roma, gm's brazil(3-0!) and some others but i lost some too, of course. haha won daryl too! 3-2 overall over two legs. woo. haha at arnd 9am, it was gm's turn to 'die' joel and i changed and went over to daryl's place ate wanton mee and waited for him to change i was really tired at that time, was gona faint anytime man, haha lack of sleep. met up with gm in sch, and collected our FormA before going home. haven't really decided the choices yet but i think its AJ,NY,AC,then SA yep. ok then, gotta go, night and tk care! =) |

yesterday was graduation day
i think ytd was the day which i had taken the most photos ever in one day all the flashlights were popping out simultaneously at times but it was good fun! last chance to take photos anyway might as well take as many as i can. anw there's also tues, the last day of sch! yesterday, i met up with joel and daryl in the morning, and bought prata over to gm's place to eat and had our iss tourney again =) lost as usual made our way to sch at around 9.40, heard from larry that there'll be a spotcheck on hair so all of us became paranoid. haha once we reached sch, we went to class and the photo taking began everyone was busy trying to catch up with one another for one of the last times and when we were called to the hall arnd 1015, everyone had to have the 'perfect look' fringe not to cover the eyebrows (me cheekiang dawei got caught -_-),. tie up ( ah tai!! haha. first time see his tie so neat man!) shirt tucked in ( taipeng again, haha.) blah blah. made our way to the hall and got seated as usual, waited for a period of time for the Vvips to arrive (we being the vips, naturally. =) ) mr colin goh came, and the ceremony started with speeches by mrboo,mr kenneth chew and him after that it was the giving out of the graduation certificates every class went up one by one, and the phototaking actually really started from here no matter which class went up, pics were taken of them, and i asked esther to take for me pictures of my class. the class monitors and form teachers had to make a graduation speech too. after that were further speeches adn then, the finale which i think the majority was waiting for they showed us the vid of us from sec1 to sec4 it was nice, being able to kinda go back in time and relive the memories. i was only in one of the frames of the video, the racial harmony day 1 when me joel tai alfred cheekiang dawei all wore maroon robes. maroon 6! haha. the vid was 12 mins long i think, using 3 songs the first i didn't know the title, second was vitamin c's graduation(so cliche. =/), and last was fantasia's i believe. the vid wasn't as gd as i had expected it to be, but it was def. enjoyable to see it and laugh and applaud together with my schmates one last time after that, we wenta the canteen to have our buffet lunch didn't really eat much, daryl ate 2 plates of chicken wings!! haha went up to class again, and it was more pictures again. hanged around for awhile before leaving met up with the 2e4 gang, and went over to gm's house, supposingly to celebrate shiying's birthday ordered pizza(canadian 241. hawaiian pepperoni and daryl demanded chicken drumlets) and played iss while we were playing can see all the girls like so bored watching us.. haha. so we played cards.. dai dee at first, then heart attack the heart attack game was fun! joel kept cheating, daryl kept opposing me, tingyun kept looking at my cards! and all of us kept laughing non stop. later when we wenta cut the cake, they pulled me and tingyun over to the centre of the table as well it was then that i realised that they weren't celebrating one birthday, but 3! shiying's(14th oct.), mine (19) and tingyun's(20). so sweet of them! i didn't expect it, actually i didn't even realise it until they sang the song and my name was sung as well. -_- me sy and ty then cut the cake together, and was forced to take the candle stick out of the cake using our mouths i had trouble taking it out, cuz they kept pushing it in deeper and deeper! but i managed to dig it out alittle anyway =D and managed to get it out in the end. sy and ty had trouble doing it too. haha after that, we played more iss and cards again and took a hell lot of pictures the girls left at around 6, while the guys stayed on me joel larry gm eric were going to watch singapore idol! liz got tickets, and asked us to go =) thanks! gm's mom drove us there, and we met up with liz eve and shirleen there was kinda like a waiting room, and they'll take turns to ask pple to go in e.g. 'leandra's supporters please make ur way to the front..' haha. we were joking that they shld ask jerry's supporters to go in last since there won't be any one left anyway. =) the set was nice, better than seen on tv! gurmit singh was super funny, entertaining us with his jokes during commercials and he would always give the call '5 4 3 2 1.. make some noise!' when the show's about to start again overall, ytd's singapore idols gave a weak show i only think maia olinda and taufik was good maia was sexy! haha. olinda's play that funky music brought back fond memories.. all of us guys liked that song alot last time, haha. taufik was the best! i liked his rendition of september alot! his voice could go SO high. if it was me i tell u i'd have zao siah(spelling. =/) haha. after the show, the idol stayed on and the crowd took turns to shout out their idol's name, trying to catch their attention some replied and the crowd went wild like a grp of girls went crazy when christopher lee blowed a air-kiss to them ridiculous, haha. he doesn't even sing good! the only reason he's still here is"because he's cute"(quote: the judges, not me. =)) joel was contemplating shouting jerry's name and show him a fist or something hahaha. after that show, we walked out of andrew road and took 157 to a nearby hawker centre ate a late supper. i had cheng teng with joel and gm while the others either ate roti prata or other hot stuff. went home at around 10. it had been a long day yesterday, but truly memorable. i love my 2e4 mates! thanks so much for everything.. will be looking forward to class chalet! and happy birthday to you.. shiying and tingyun. =) |

Man On Fire rocks!!
watched it today with gm and liz at orchard cineleisure. today's the last day of relaxation, and i think i spent it well! haha. Man On Fire is about the real-life situation in Mexico, where kidnappings occur once every hour or so. Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning are good, and its damn sweet how the director portray their on screen relationship. i'll give it a 8 outta 10, 2 marks off cuz its a whopping 2.5 hours long, 5-730, which caused me to be late for family dinner and thus having to eat packed rice instead =/ haha. and besides some scenes are so gory.. also wenta the College Fair this afternoon, with liz and gm again. i wasn't doing much there, just listening in on the various talks by the people. i'm also not allowed to study overseas anyway.. haha. but it was kinda a good experience overall makes me realise how unplanned i am about my future! haha. ok, gotta go now! cya =) |
